I wonder whether all these
Thoughts have been in vain
I wonder whether waiting
Will take its toll again
I wonder whether you will ever
Trust me when I say
That I don't wonder one bit
What I'm waiting for.

Will I ever make some progress?
Will I ever make it there?
Will I be alone and helpless?
Am I getting anywhere?

But like Wesley and the princess
Your wish is how I serve
For whenever have I gotten
Just what I deserved?
You're not ready, nor am I
I don't want to hit a nerve
I won't wonder whether
Waiting is the way

For I know that you are listening
To the One who told me this
And I know that you want nothing
In your will that's not in His
And I know that He will tell you
When the time is right to know
And I know that you will hear Him -

So I won't wonder anymore.
