I sit here on the side of the road
Lost and without a direction
Looking behind and left and right
I see my own imperfection
I look everywhere but straight ahead
I don't like the unknown
And the struggles that I've already passed
Try to drag me to my old home

Lord, help me to take the next step
To play one card at a time
A piece of Peace adds to what I have
Your Hope (2nd time: Love) is always my sign

When the map blew out the window
I thought I'd suffered defeat
But I know you're right here with me
Please take the driver's seat
After all, you planned the route for me
Before all, you had it in your head
Now you're towing my life behind us
Without you I'd be left for dead
