If I Were An Evil Dictator

Verse 1:
If I were an evil dictator
I'd set my base on Jupiter
That way, no country'd get me for a while
I'd enlist the help of every race
From every clime and every place
And force them into service with a smile!

(chorus)
Watch me now get contemplative
Though many say I'm not creative
New emperors are nothing new to see
You cannot save your puny nation
When I want world domination
There's never been a despot quite like me!

Verse 2:
If I were an evil dictator
I'd have some way to monitor
All the folk that dwelt beneath my hand
My minions they would then be sent
To all those who are discontent
And force them all to laugh on my command! (ch)

Verse 3:
To be an evil dictator
You must be quite an orator
To make yourself look better than you are
When you have their trust you will prevail
Then comes the time for your betrayal
Just take these tips and you too will go far! (ch)

Verse 4:
If I were an evil general
I'd be quite original
Not like Khan, Hussein, or Bonaparte
I'm not quite sure just what I'd do
I just know that it would be new
For dictatorship requires only heart! (ch)
