Doubt Your Doubts
Copyright 2001 by Jon Gill
Doubt your doubts
Don’t fear your fears
Renounce your will
For it’s here you’ll hear
The Lord.
My enemies surround me
Not one cares about me
And once they have found me
There’s no telling what they’ll do!
My worries, how they beat me!
And my doubting, it defeats me
I’m afraid my fears may eat me
Tell me what am I to do?
There’s an enemy within me
To the ground it tries to pin me
Enticing, trying to win me
Over to its side
“Relax” it says, “and don’t moan –
You can do it on your own.”
But I know it’s God alone
In whom I will abide.
