Crazy Horse Poems 2: #1,5,7,8

What is happening to me?
The monkey chirps
The banana laughs
The bird swings from tree to tree
The sun was in
My eyes last night
Oh what is happening to me?
The lightning was
Too dark to see
The thunder softly
Put me to sleep
The kitten barked
The dog meowed
Oh what is happening to me?

Cucumbers
The cucumber got itself
Into a pickle
But it does not relish the thought
Of a daft-o-dill.

The Great Cat
The great cat stalks its prey:
Big and round it sits unaware
Its tail extends behind it
The cat’s claws are ready
It pounces
And tosses its prey into the air
The ball of yarn was caught unsuspecting
And now it is no more.

Elegance
Tall and thin she stands
Her elegance unmatched
Her blonde-brown hair is her pride
She looks over the hill
And all see her standing in grace
For the giraffe is a most revered animal.
