I知 happy but I知 sad
Content but I知 annoyed
I知 passive but I知 mad
Is my self-control destroyed?
I知 angry but I知 glad
My mind痴 a shade of plaid
And is that bad or good?

Fighting off repression
Scratching out a living
What kind of impression
Have I been giving?
Falling into recession
Giving way to depression
It痴 a lesson not usually understood.

Give me the peace that passes all understanding
When understanding痴 gone to pieces
Show me the love that persists to the heart
When my persistence all but ceases.
