A fter a relatively unproductive 2004, I made the goal to write at least one new poem every month, no matter what I was involved with. That way, I would at least put my gift to use frequently enough to let something out, and occasionally, it might turn out to be very good material. It turns out, that rate of one per month is actually slower than I’ve written them over the last 7 ½ years (90 months), as I’ve written 130 poems in that time (not counting at least two that were lost). To keep reference to all these, I have constructed the following. It is approximate, because although some poems are quite memorable in when, where, and why they were written, others are quite foggy.
