Bad Things Good

Julie was a friend of mine
We used to go out to dine
I remember all the fun we had
But things took a turn for the worst
And Julie got to Heaven first
And we’re all left here feeling sad
Oh what turns all the good things bad?

When circumstances should be well
And bad things happen to good people
And no one could predict they would
Oh, who turns all the bad to good?

Adam was an enemy
I didn’t mind him, but he hated me
They say his heart was made of wood
But something’s changed him deep inside
He told me Someone’s turned him right
That One that makes the bad things good
The One who puts things as they should

When a person’s heart is less than full
And good things happen to bad people
And no one can believe they would
It’s the One who makes the bad things good!
